Studio program is independent from Saigon Open City Project, aims at using studio space in SOC building to support contemporary art experiment.

Open space of studio is free of charge for Vietnamese artists  with more than 400m2, including 10 rooms.

 STUDIO IN SOC

Studio program for artists in SOC established according to free creative space for artists. This is neither an art school nor a place to hold exhibitions. Studio program aims at creating a useful art-making environment, supporting new artists a condition for experimenting ideas , creating interaction to stimulate each individual’s creation.

-     Used for artists and art students in experimenting : installation, performance, video...

-        Studio program includes supplying rooms, showing art works after work-in- studio  time.

-   Holding exchanges, talks. Lecturers are artists, curators who have art experiences.

-   Supporting in  recording  artworks’images in CDs (bilingual).

-  Introducing list of funding sources where artists can apply for being funded for art project and exhibitions.

-  Can use studio space free of charge ( for foreign artists: 200USD/1 month/1 room).
