Kim Kang, one of two artists who presides over Oasis Project introduced this project for Vietnamese artists on July 24th , 2006 in Ho Chi Minh City . Kim Kang is a Korean artist and curator. Her practices includes performances, videos, writings, installations. Oasis Project is a space revival project which gives new life to abandoned or dead spaces in the city. Oasis project started in 2004, aims to expand the production and distribution of art to society through the activity of  “art occupation”.

Twin wells – painting exhibition of the twin brothers Le Ngoc Thanh and Le Duc Hai at Mai’s gallery, HCMC, from July 22nd, 2006 to August 15th, 2006. The exhibition included 15 big size lacquer paintings. Le Ngoc Thanh and Le Duc Hai live and own a private gallery named New Space in Hue . Their art works are mainly by lacquer. Besides, they also did many installations, performances.
